Photo Album
Well, as I've progressed through college I realized that it would be nice to have a photo album of things I've done and people I know. I must be getting older. The hard thing is that I have very few printed photos and really don't care for any because I'd just have to store them some where. So I figured I'd have to make an electronic photo album, or none at all. So here it is... Fire Escape

Andy (bottom left) started a tradition of climbing the fire escape at the College Life fall retreat before we leave each year. Now I'm left to carry it on, so I grabbed my roommate, Randy (top), to join in. For perspective here, Andy is on the third floor and the ground slopes down toward the right.

Below are a few of us guys visiting the girls next door. That's Steve Mighty Smash getting smashed in the middle by four of The Mighty Five. I'm on the far left. The other three are my roommates: Randy, Ryan, and Shane. Our neighbor's dog, Tippy, is wishing she wasn't in Ryan's hands at this point.

Well, before the 1997-98 school year started, some of you know that I went down to San Quintín, Mexico. It was part of a one week mission trip with my church here in Davis, First Baptist Church. We spent our time down there doing construction in the morning, a Vacation Bible School in the afternoons, and evening films at a migrant camp. It was definitely a good experience, especially as it was my first trip to Mexico. Mexico Beach On our last day there we went to one of the many local beaches. Jason Norcross and I got this odd idea to run down the side of this sand dune. After all we climbed up it, why not run down? The best part was making the sharp transition from the steep decline to flat beach. That's me being leveled into the sand. For my mother's peace of mind, the first time I went down I was more cautious. I just had to go again to experience the crash.
Randy's on the Quad

But then school started up again and everyone was ignoring the fact that they had homework by sitting on the quad all day for an extended lunch. This is one of the few documented times that my roommate, Randy, was unproductive. We don't see him much after the fifth week of classes. Even this time he did manage to find something that needed to be done... Eric and Kent are standing behind him collecting their money.

Here are my roommates again, with a couple of our neighbors. Rob (the fifth of The Mighty Five), Ryan (RT), Trisha, Cristina, and Shaners. They Spring Break '98 decided to go down to the beach near Trisha's house for spring break this year. I, however, went to the sunny state of Ohio to visit my family. Apparently it rained a couple days on them at the beach, while I had all the sunny beautiful weather. Él Niño did it. If you want to know why my family is in Ohio, visit my bro's web page.

Well, since I got onto the topic of my parents and Ohio, I'll throw in this Chevy Eskie picture. Chíku Kemúhta is my American Eskimo that I raised during my jr. and senior years of high school. I trained him in the basic obedience commands and a few fun tricks. Unfortunately, now he's a few thousand miles away from me in Ohio. They're of course, making him a softee as he learns how much he can take advantage of them. I plan to find a high quality female eskie and get a Chíku puppy when I graduate from Davis. And now the TRUCK. It's a Chevy, and it's with my Dad in Ohio. It's the dairy truck, but it belongs to Chíku.

Now, my more current project. Some of you may have heard about Gus. He's a six year old golden retriever that I rescued with my neighbor through a program here at the UCD Veterinary School. The idea was that I provided the home for Gus, Gus while Trisha trained him with some help from my previous experience. Unfortunately, Gus doesn't have the regiment of Chíku, but he does enough. Not that he didn't learn, he just didn't get all the training. He's an excellent, mellow dog that just wants to be loved. In the picture he has his favorite toy, a little yellow squeaky chicken. He rarely lets himself get separated from it. He just graduated from the Dog Shelter Rescue Project and has been adopted. Gus graduated with bragging rights: a second place ribbon, and is now an AKC Canine Good Citizen.

Look around my other pages to get a closer look at me. I'll try not to put pictures that are already on the web on this page. So if you want to look at my bible studies, etc., you'll have to visit the College Life Photo Album as well as my other pages. I'd also encourage you to look at The Mighty Five web page, it will have photos from trips with those guys. I guess that will encourage you to browse around. Enjoy!
