On Sunday a few of us decided to get a little more excersize and go for a day hike. Our goal was Lower Relief
Valley. At the trail junction, we met a couple from France(?) and they warned us of a river crossing. We
found the river to be a couple feet deep, and moving really fast. It was filled with rocks, but none of them
were big enough to make for good stepping stones. After hiking upstream awhile, we finally admitted defeat.
Besides, Cirque was getting pretty tired. We sat down and had some salame and triscuits for lunch.
